Oh How Fun a Gun Can Be!
Well a lot of you know I like to go shooting but this time it was MUCH different. I had never used one of those fun scanning guns in stores before and today was my day! YAY!
Ryan and I went to Target today and started our Baby Registry. It was great... so much more fun than doing it online, which is what I had done about a week ago.
I didnt think Ryan would enjoy it at all but was surprisingly into it... especially when he got to use the gun. I handed him the gun and off he went... just FYI if there are random things on the registry like a can opener or XXXXL pair of undies... it was Ryan not me. haha.
So for those of you who are interested Ryan & I are Registered at both Target & Babies R Us. (Web Links provided)
You can browse our Registry online or in the stores but make sure you type our last name in right (W O L S E Y) I have had a couple people say they couldnt find it.
**Baby Update** 26 weeks and doing great!
Fetal development in pregnancy week 26:fetus in sixth month At long last, your little swimmer can see the womb! Your miracle’s little eyelids have finally separated (they were fused closed previously) and they’re probably having their first moments of sight as you read this (or maybe it already happened while you were brushing your teeth or watching Oprah or something). In addition to seeing their little studio in your belly, they’ve recently acquired the ability to say “yes” and “no” in rudimentary sign language as they can now move their head back and forth. This is also the time where your little super star’s head hair is starting to grow! A cute little cowlick or two may be springing into position right now, getting ready for years of cute-but-stubborn bed-head. Also, their toenails have grown in and you little raisin continues to slowly pile up fat beneath their still-loose skin. Most importantly, brain tissue and neurons are all developing at a rapid pace, increasing their (genius-level?) brain activity and will continue to function at accelerated levels for the first seven to eight years of childhood!

I LOVE going to a good Garage Sale!
Here are a few of the things I was able to get.
Here is a look at a few of the things I got ... Notice the Boppy($10), the crib side organizer ($2), The SUPER cute duck robe and a load of clothes!
I got a bag of clothes for 5 bucks... I seperated them out into NB,3mo & 6mo. All of the clothes are in excellent condition... not a single stain or color fading.
One of my favorite outfits that I bought just for Ryan... A cute onesie and skirt.
A barely used baby swing. I was actually looking at purchasing it brand new... It retails for $100 and I paid $15 for both the swing & the Genie. Now I know most people dont use them but see... it gets cold here in the NE and cracking the window open to air out and stinky room... isnt really an option so this will most likly get used... a lot!
My wonderful neighbor bouth me the photo album and I actually got the breastfeeding cover off of this web site for FREE & all I had to do was pay shipping! YAY!
My lovely step-sister Tiffany sent me a care packages stuffed with binkies, head bands, clothes and this super cute outfit she said she couldnt pass up buying for the baby.
Tiffany also made the recieving blanket and matching burp clothes on the right. Ryans Grandma made the Blanket, bibs and Burp clothes on the right... very very cute!
These are some of the outfits Ryans Mom bought the baby while we were in San Diego... I love the green one with the little purple flowers!
Ok I couldnt go yard saling and NOT find some fun glass ware to pick up. I found this Depression Ware in a box and bought the whole 4 peice set for 3 dollars! I was stunned. I dont even care if it is a knock off... it looks GREAT!
Well that was my saturday... I went Yard Saling and spent a total of 35.00 on all of my fun finds.
My weekend as a whole has gone really well. We have had our friend Josh over... which is always a pleasure, and I actually got to attend church today... this made me very happy. I was able to see my friends in the ward and even was even asked if anyone has offerend to throw me a baby shower! YAY! I feel so privilaged... Thanks Krista!
Well I gotta start making our sunday dinner. Rotiserie Chicken, Mashed Potatoes & Corn on the Cob. Prego lady is hungry!

25 Weeks
Fetal development in pregnancy week 25: Your little grower’s physical proportions are evening out at this point and most of their remaining development will largely be weight gain and lots and lots of nervous system development. The good news is: if your child is born premature now they’ll be more likely to survive without too much trauma as their lungs began to produce “surfactant” last week, which means their tiny respiratory system is getting stronger with each passing day. Yes, now’s a good time for a minor sigh of relief and a quick pat on the back. All that hard work and conscientious living is really getting your child prepared for a healthy delivery. Keep up the fabulous work mama! Time is short (or really long, depending on who you ask)—just 14 weeks left before you can go back to being a single-resident human.
My "Skip Out On Church" Day
Laying in bed last night and combining outfits in my head to figure out what would be the perfect outfit to wear to church the next day. I quickly settle on my new sun dress and soon after found myself in dream land getting a good nights rest.
-Preface-
These last two days my body has been in and out of pain. Lots of baby growth on the inside of me means lots of growth on the outside of me. My hips have been in a lot of pain and feel like they are ready to give out at random points of the day, my back feels just as painful and my abs sting from being stretched father than they ever thought possible.
SO.... This brings me to this morning. I have been having issues with my legs cramping up but have been eating bananas and thought nothing more of it... I was woken up by a killer cramp in my leg that would NOT let up. So if I didn't feel like I was falling apart before... I sure do now. My back hurts, my left hip is killing me, my right leg feels un-functionable and to top it all off my stomach just plain old hurts. Blah.
Needless to say getting around my own house was painful enough ... venturing out to church in the condition I feel right now (by my self since Ryan is at work today) seemed impossible. So I call this "Danielle's Skip Out On Church Day" (because driving just isnt safe right now lol).
Well I think I am going to get some scripture study in... since I am missing out on sunday school.

San Diego Part IV
Our last full day in San Diego was that Monday and we spent it as a family at Sea World. I hadn't been to Sea World since I was a kid so going back was probably more exciting for me than Ryan.
Here are a few pictures of our day at Sea World...My Nephew Christopher admiring the aquarium...
The brothers reunited
Me sporting my new shirt from the mother in law. Can you see the belly yet?!
Ryan getting some practice with our newest nephew Dylan
Watching the Dolphin Show... very impressive!
Shamu and the lucky people in the "splash zone"...
Well Sea World was a ton of fun. We all got a little bit of sun... some more than others. I miraculously did not get burned... yes I used lots of sunscreen mom.
An entire day dedicated to Sea World was a lot for pregnant ol me to handle and I was exhausted by the end of it and excited to hit the sack. We stopped by Carls Jr to grab a bite to eat and then procedded home. Our flight was leaving at 6:30 the next morning so we were fortunate enough to be waking up at 4:30. As for replenishing the energy I had used that day... it did not happen. I woke up in the middle of the night sick as sick could be.
Three flights were a lot for one day. The first layover was in Denver. Wow... that is an amazing airport... we felt like we were in a mall instead of an international airport. With not much time to catch our next flight we grabbed a Jamba Juice and headed to our next gate. Off to DC we went.
The take off was smooth as smooth could be and the flight wasnt bad either. We watched Marley & Me (no one warned me it was a sad movie) and enjoyed a conversation with the guy sitting next to us. Our landing on the other hand was rough... both Ryan and I were eyeing the air sickness bags. The only thing that kept me from loosing my 9.00 lunch I purchased on the plane was seeing Ryan sick... call me incensitive but I for some reason couldnt stop laughing. I never believed the old saying of "laughter is the best medicine" until that moment.
Well... my laughter got me in trouble... not with Ryan but on our next flight into Albany. I spent the entire last half of it filling my own personal air sickness bag. Throwing up on planes is so embarassing... and to make matters worse I asked the flight attendent for some crackers or something to sooth my stomache (before I lossed my lunch) and he said they only give our pretzles to those who have a medical condition. "Do you have a medical condition?!" he asked... "I am pregnant... so yeah I do at this given moment." I replied with a pitty me please look on my face. I might have been able to save my lunch and those around me the agony of listening to me throw up if he hadnt waited forever to grab me a small bag of pretzles.
To make this long story short... We flew, we felt sick, I laughed, Ryan slept... I threw up.
My next post... Prego pics... I will be investing in sun dresses because they are simply amazing when one is pregnant!

Just To Answer a Few Questions
Here is our website to better explain what we have been up to these last two months.

&

Anyhow... this new endeavor has been very rewarding for us... I have been able to meet new people, take care of friends and family members who are in need of an increased income as well as giving people peace of mind that if something were to happen in their lives then they would have the counsel and protection of one of the best law firms in their state.
My goal with our membership is to GET a Will before our baby girl is born and keep it updated so all of our babies are taken care of if anything were to happen to us. Getting out of speeding tickets and having our law firm fix and restore my past identity theft doesn't hurt my feelings any either.

Thought You Might Find This Funny...
San Diego Part III
Well that Saturday we had family pictures taken. I was very excited about this because I had never really had family pictures before0. My dad and I had some taken of just the two of us, which was great but well, my mom wasn't in that picture with us and as for his wife now and her kids... getting us all together in the same place at the same time is beyond impossible. So needless to say I was pretty excited to be included in my first ever family pictures.
We headed down to the beach in San Diego for our pictures and it was a lot of fun. Had a few pictures of just the parents and their kids, just the boys, just the girls and then individual families as well as individual shots. I was surprised when they told me it was my turn to get an individual shot... I didn't think they would want one of just me.
The photo shoot took about an hour and in that hour near the beach my virgin fresh from the winter skin got a little pink. I even have tan lines from my rings, bracelet and flip flops. I was pretty impressed.
Well I hate to be the barer of bad news but we have not received our pictures yet... BUT when we get them ... they will be posted.
Next on the San Diego series ... a plethora of pictures!
(PS Mom & Dad... I know you read this... you can comment if you so desire. If you want me to walk you through the whole technological side of it... just call. I promise it is really painless!)

San Diego Part II
Aside from dipping into our glutenous pleasures we also brought out the kid in ourselves by spending the evening at good old Dave & Busters. It was great... we played archade games, ate dessert, played more archade games and when all was said and done we had a plethora of tickets from our winnings. What else do two married couples and a return mission spend their winnings on at an adult Chuck E Cheeses?! Why things for the neice and nephew of course! Our winnings bought us a spiderman nightlight(a really large table top nightlight) and a hello kitty stuffed animal/backpack.
It was awesome... Next post... Family pictures and SEA WORLD!!!

I Love To See The Temple
This is where eternity began for Ryan and I and it was a wonderful feeling being able to go back and visit. What a great place the west is... where going to the Temple is something that can be done spur of the moment.
We did a session the second full day we were there and it was wonderful. I wanted to go sooner but my lovely cold prevented me from wanting to do much of anything. We saw a few people in the temple that were at our sealing last april. I cannot believe it has been a year since Ryan and I were sealed together for all time and eternity... What a wonderful experience it was. I count my blessings every day knowing that I will always have him in my life this life and in the next.
As for the rest of our trip I didnt take too many pictures other than at Sea World... but those are very much so worth an additional post.

Home Sweet Home...
Our plane rides home started out pretty decent... well minus the fact that I woke up the night before we left sick as all heck and threw up. Our first flight was into Denver and the Denver airport is PHENOMENAL!!! It looked more like a major mall than an airport. Our flight from Denver to DC was on a nice spacious 767 and the take off was smooth as they come but the landing was rocky and both Ryan and I were ready to get sick. The only thing that saved me from throwing up was the fact that I got a kick out of watching Ryan struggle not to toss his cookies... laughter really is the best medicine... mean I know.
We land in DC with just enough time to grab some greasy mexican food and then catch our flight to Albany. Well that hour long flight felt like it took a lifetime. I became so sick that I just couldn't hold it down anymore. The flight attendant brought me some pretzels a little too late.
The drive home was just as painful... although I didn't need to make an emergency pit stop the thought did cross my mind.
Oh as far as the actual vacation... it was great. I will post with pictures once this jet lag headache leaves me alone!
Ta ta for now!

Sea World...?
Last night we went to Dave & Busters and had a blast. Ryan and I went with my brother in law Mark as well as their sister Stephanie and her husband Steven. It was a much needed adults night out and we stayed out way past our bedtimes... 12:02... lol.
This morning was rough trying to wake up in time for conference but the smell of waffles woke us up and enticed us all, eventually, out of bed. My father in law makes some excellent waffles and always sneaks in a surprise. So far we have had strawberries, bananas and apples in our waffles... not all at the same time though haha.
Speaking of conference it has been wonderful to listen to our prophet and apostles speak. What a luxury it is to have so many mouth pieces for the Lord. I feel so spiritually fed with being so close to a temple here and able to watch conference all weekend, what a blessing!
I'm not gonna lie I am going to be a little sad heading back to NY... I have missed the sun and laid back atmosphere of the west coast... not to mention being ridiculously close to a temple. Oh the things you take for granted when you have them at your fingertips. None the less I am ready to get back into my routine and see my friends, neighbors and pets.
