Monday:
Ryan had the day off so we went here.We went to the Great Sacandaga Lake which, for you Tri-City folk, was about the width of the Columbia River.
We finally got to the park and this is the first sign we saw... "No Bathing"... first thing to pop into my mind was "No problem!" Since there was a thunder and lightening storm coming soon we decided to make our visit short and head on back. Oh well... at least the road trip was fun!
Thursday:
Here is what we came up with.
I stumbled upon these paint samples from our Tru-Value hardware store. You can peel and stick the sample to your wall and they wont rip or tear. This means you can peel and stick them onto multiple surfaces or put them back and switch them out for a different colors.
The lightest brown is going to be for our ceiling and above the chair rail on the walls.
The Geishia white is for the trim, moldings and chair rail.
The medium brown is for the bottom of the chair rail.
The darker brown is the aprox. color of the the stain we are using for our hard wood floors.
*Here is a tip for painting your house*
Always get extra! You never know when you are going to need to touch up a spot on the wall and matching already existing paint is next to impossible.
Always make sure to stir the paint before painting, or your paint will come out with different tones and intensities of the color you chose.
Saturday:
We are possibly heading to the place where it all started... Palmyra New York. Ryan and I are wanting to do a session in the temple and do a little sightseeing... only a quick 2 1/2 hour drive from where we live. How fun! I am really excited and will have plenty of pictures to put up and show off.
Hope everyone is doing well. Have a splendid weekend!
