Teething... teething... and more teething...

Ok... so is it normal to feel exhausted at the end of a day, where you really havent done much of anything, when taking care of a 6 month old who is cutting teeth?

I feel so exhausted and have a headache and I am not even the one in pain! I feel so bad for Olivia but there is not much I can do at this point. She has been chewing on things, had her Motrin, Ive massaged her gums...

Any suggestions? I am up for just about anything at this point. Oh... wait... Who wants to borrow a baby?! lol. Kidding, really. But seriously... if anyone wants to buy me a nanny for the next couple of months... I would love you forever! lol.

Hyland's homepathic teething tablets. They work like a charm on my kids. You can find them in Walmart's pharmacy section next to the tylenol or next to the vitamins.

Cold water in a bottle works sometimes.
I like the teething tablets too.
People say a cold washcloth, but I don't think I ever tried that...
You'll be okay and so will she. Just wait until you have another kid and it won't feel quite so hard (at least all the baby stages.)

teething tablets and numbing gel that you rub on the gums work really well. Hang in there!

They make these wonderful numming sticks. They look like cutips, but they are full off anbesol. You break one end off and the other end of the cutip fills with the numming stuff. Its so easy to rub on thier gums and you don't get bitten. Plus they come it a little carrying case so you can easily take them with you.

Yes teething tablets! Oh man they saved me with Ryan. Randi never seems to have any change in her mood when teething, but Ryan is a little devil! Wish I could take beautiful Olivia off your hands for a few hours :) Or we could just kid swap for awhile! Love you! Hang in there!! The first tooth is the worst!

Wow... thank you for the comments! I am going to get me some of those tablets for sure!! She is actually cutting more than one tooth at a time and none of the have broken through yet... I have felt two so far but I wouldnt be surprised if there were more trying to come in. Thank you so much for your support and good suggestions! Your love and words of wisdom mean more than you could ever imagine!
