I am Pregnant!
I had my first Dr. Apt on Tuesday and it went awesome. I was lucky to have Ryan there with me and he was more than happy to be there.
We went in and she estimated our due date which is Aug. 1st and then we got to hear the heartbeat...
Ryan was expecting more of a thump thump sound for a baby heartbeat so when we heard the swishing sound Ryan wasn't really sure what he was hearing but the Dr. and I were both put at ease. Well this baby is a mover and she had to chase it around to find the heartbeat again... once she had a more steady listen on the heartbeat she made the comment of "And there is the heartbeat we were looking for!". Once Ryan heard her say that he was relieved and you could see the anxiety melt off of his face and we were filled with joy! It was a great feeling to hear the heartbeat and know that everything is ok. Both Ryan and I were a little teary eyed and to keep myself from shedding a few tears of joy I decided teasing my husband was a good idea. He didnt mind though since he had been teasing me all day... we love it.
After miscarrying twice...making it to 12 weeks is a milestone for us. I know it sounds silly to call it a milestone but to us... it calls for celebration.
As of today I am 12 weeks and 5 days.

Celebrate every milestone. It's okay. Glad to know I can actually talk to you about it not in code language any more! Congrats. I hope all goes well and will put your name on the prayer roll when we go to the temple next week.

Like I said... Woo-hoo! babies are fun! Congrats on the 12 week mark.. isn't it so hard to wait? hope oy uare feeling well!
