Pregnancy Update... plus some extras....

Today I had my second Dr. appointment and it went really well. We heard a much stronger heartbeat and made another appointment to have an ultrasound to check on the babies progress. I have actually lost about 5 pounds in all two and a half since the last visit so they just want to make sure that everything is up to par.

Today was an overall good day... minus the small blizzard outside...

A package showed up to the house today... Birthday came early for Danielle.
My dad sent a nice care package with some pregnancy books, recipe book, homemade jams and salsa and... PICKLES!!!! Yes daddy dearest loves me enough to ship my favorite pickles all the way from Washington.

This is how they came packaged lucky for me there were buried in packaging peanuts so as not to destroy such amazing contents. THANKS PAPA!!!!
I had the opportunity to hang out with my husband on his day off... always a pleasure.

Got in some cuddle time with my posse...

Oh and indulged myself in some leftover Halloween candy... small sweet tart craving.

Did I mention we are kennel training our new puppy... lol... Zorro loves taunting Zoe... he sits outside her kennel while she whines to be let out... He is probably laughing and thinking... stupid dog they dont put me in a cage. lol... but they are good friends, they play all day and cuddle.

It's amazing how you can barely pick out the heartbeat at first and by the end you can't miss it! I can't believe you lost weight. I never did that. And you are totally spoiled by your dad--good for you!

Your puppy is incredibly cute! Oh, and I lost 17 pounds in the first trimester (I wasn't throwing up) and Naomi did just fine. Everyone is different. =)

Thanks MaryAnn... yeah... I am not too worried but it is nice that my Dr found a little loop hole int he insurance system. Might not be the most honest way to find out the gender but then again... we might not see anything after all.
